Workshops

Our workshops are designed to get you started and are aimed at those wishing to take up beading as a new hobby. We teach you the basics of jewellery making, which is fun, enriching and thoroughly therapeutic. Our classes run for a period of 3 weeks (1 night per week) and covers the following:

Week 1 – how to make earrings (2 pairs)

Week 2 – how to make a bracelet (on tiger-tail & memory wire)

Week 3 – how to make a 2 stranded ‘floating’ necklace

The total cost is £40.00 per person, which includes all materials, use of tools, tuition and workspace.

NB: A £10.00 deposit will secure your place, this is non-refundable should you cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled class. You can cancel your class three days in advance, you will however be charged a £2.50 cancellation fee. The balance of £30.00 is required to be paid either on or before the first class commences. If you are unable to attend last minute, you are welcome to send someone in your place.

Children’s Parties

Parties take place at the shop premises Monday to Friday, 17h30 - 19h00. We cater for children from the age of 8 years+. From groups of 6 to a maximum of 8/9 children. Cost per child is £10.95 which includes £5.00 of beads, which they choose. All elastics and cotton cords are free of charge. Your son/daughter will have 1.5 hours of solid creative fun. A party bag is available at a cost of £1.50 per bag, which includes a fruit juice, packet of crisps, chocolates and sweeties. You are welcome to bring a cake!

A £5.00 deposit per child will secure your booking. The balance is required to be paid either on or before the party commences. You can cancel the party three days in advance, you will however be charged a £5.00 cancellation fee. Unfortunately there are no refunds should you cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled party, however you can book another date.

NB: Whilst we endeavour to assist each child, it is advisable, especially for the younger ones, that at least 2-3 parents are available to lend a helping hand.

Adult Parties / Get Togethers

Parties take place at the shop premises, after hours Monday to Thursday. We provide you and your guests with expert instruction, exclusive use of the work area and tools for two hours.

You can choose from one of two time slots: 18h30 to 20h30 or 19h00 to 21h00. From groups of 6 to a maximum of 8 friends.

A £5.00 deposit per person will secure your booking. You can cancel the party three days in advance, you will however be charged a £5.00 cancellation fee. Unfortunately there are no refunds should you cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled party, however you can book another date.

NB: A minimum spend of £10.00 per person is required on the night.

You are welcome to bring refreshments.

Gift Vouchers

Buying gifts for your friends and loved ones can be difficult, which is why vouchers make the perfect gift enabling the receiver to choose their own beads and accessories. Vouchers are available in £5, £10 & £20 denominations.

Perhaps you have a wedding or a party coming up, we will match and design a fabulous piece of jewellery to compliment your outfit for that special occasion. Make an appointment with us, bring in your outfit and we will do the rest for you. Simple and stress-free!

Ready to purchase jewellery and accessories

For those of you that have time constraints or perhaps don’t have any inclination to make jewellery, we have a stunning array of finished pieces available to purchase. Whether it’s a gift for someone special or a treat for yourself, you’ll be sure to find something perfect.

Jewellery Repair

We are happy to offer a service to repair old and broken jewellery. We know that many of you possess beautiful handed down glass beads, pearls and crystals. We will restore them back to their original glory giving them a new lease on life, they don’t deserve to be stuck in a drawer. A minimum fee of £5.00 (excl. materials) applies.
